"I love The Theatre Project because it is a community theatre that is truly dedicated to both community and theatre.
From the very first rehearsal, Ms. Dana, Ms. Molly, Mr. Neil, and Ms. Abigail begin building community while they build the music & theatre vocabularies & skills of the actors. Each of the kids knows that they are important to the show, no matter how big or small their part is—every part matters because without every part, the show could not happen.
It has been an absolute delight to watch my daughter grow in confidence and joy through the 2 shows she has been a part of. I love hearing her sing the songs throughout the house, talk endlessly about “the show” (casually dropping music and theatre terms), and gush about how fabulous the other actors are. When performance time arrives, she glows with pride about all of the work she has done and she simply can’t wait for us to see the show she and her theatre family have worked so hard to bring to life!
I cannot recommend The Theatre Project highly enough—even if music theatre turns out not to be your kid’s thing, the experience of building community and working hard together is so incredible and so important!"
