🎭 Give your child the ultimate theatre summer camp experience! Designed for kids of all skill levels, our full-day, week-long camp immerses young performers in the world of acting, singing, and dancing. Each day, students will build confidence, develop stage presence, and learn new performance techniques—all while having a blast with fellow theatre-loving friends!

Does your child love to sing, dance, and act? Our half-day summer theatre camp is the perfect introduction to the magical world of performing arts! Designed especially for young performers ages 6-8, this fun and engaging program helps kids build confidence, make new friends, and explore their creativity through theatre games, movement, and music.

Finding Nemo Jr
Finding Nemo Jr. follows Marlin, a clownfish, on a daring quest to rescue his son, Nemo, who’s captured by a diver. With help from the friendly but forgetful Dory, Marlin braves the ocean, while Nemo plans his escape from a fish tank. In the end, father and son are reunited, learning valuable lessons about courage and trust.

Beetlejuice Jr
Beetlejuice Jr. follows Lydia, a strange teen who befriends Beetlejuice, a mischievous ghost, to scare away people from her new home. Together, they unleash chaos, but Lydia ultimately learns the importance of family and belonging, bringing peace to the haunted house.

Summer Show: School House Rock
Students will rehearse for 10-12 weeks and perform a full musical production at the conclusion. All students who sign up will receive a part in the show. Students will learn theatre basics including stage direction, projection, and the simple act of being comfortable on stage in front of an audience. Most importantly, they will learn to experience theatre in a safe and fun environment with new friends.
Stages Level 3: Broadway Bound
Students aged 12+ and by audition only
Production Fee: $200
Spring 2024 Show: SpongeBob Jr
Advanced students will have the opportunity to audition for a musical production that will rehearse twice a week for 12 weeks. Not all students who audition will be cast. Smaller class size allows for more intense and individualized training. Students will work on more demanding vocal training, character development, and working together as a team to put together a high-quality student musical production at the conclusion.

Production fees include students' scripts, classes/rehearsals, and costume rental. Tickets for performance are not included.
These fees help to cover the cost of:
Rights and royalties for the show, which average around $2,000
Performance space rental, which averages around $1,000 - $3,000/day
Materials for costumes, props, and set pieces

Stages Level 2
All students who sign up will receive a part in the show. Auditions are held for students ages 8-18 on the first day to allow staff to make a decision on the best placement of each student. Students are not required to prepare anything for auditions. Students ages 5-7 do not need to attend this first rehearsal.
Stages Level 3
This production is by audition only; not all students who audition will be cast. Students are encouraged to prepare a song and/or monologue for their audition. Specific audition requirements may vary depending on the show.

No. Parents are not allowed in rehearsals but are more than welcome to watch from the windows. This is to reduce distractions and due to limited space.

Stages Level 2
This level rehearses once a week, on Tuesdays for ages 8-18.

All rehearsals take place at the Creative Avenues Complex (835 N 26th St, Grand Junction).

This level rehearses twice a week. Rehearsal schedule will be discussed at auditions and/or when the cast list is announced. Rehearsals take place at the Creative Avenues Complex.
