THE THEATRE PROJECT OF GRAND JUNCTIONSeason 2026
2026 at The Theatre Project: Nurturing Talent, Connecting Community
The 2026 season at Theatre Project of Grand Junction is a celebration of connection, community, and storytelling—bringing together beloved traditions, youth-driven productions, and joyful musical experiences throughout the year.
We begin the season in February with Sing a Song of Valentine’s, our annual Valentine’s Day event that blends great food and drink with unforgettable live performances into a heartfelt evening perfect for sharing with someone special.
In April, the spotlight turns to our youth performers with two exciting Spring musicals. Audiences will delight in the humor and heart of Shrek Jr., which follows the powerful storytelling and timeless score of Les Misérables School Edition—a meaningful opportunity for young performers to tackle epic material on stage.
May brings us to the Art Center for a lively fundraiser and musical revue, featuring standout songs and performances that support Theatre Project’s mission while showcasing the incredible talent in our community.
In August, we welcome back the beloved cast of Nunsense for another round of riotous fun. With new surprises and the same fan-favorite performers, this production of Nunsense II: The Second Coming promises laughter, music, and pure theatrical joy.
The fall season continues our commitment to youth theatre with two fall youth musicals, giving even more young performers the chance to shine on stage and grow through live theatre.
Halloween brings a zombie production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, a macabre reimagining of a classic work that invites new audiences into the theatre.
We close the year in December with a magical holiday production of Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical, bringing warmth, wonder, and music to the season in a show the whole family will love.
From intimate musical evenings to large-scale productions, the 2026 season is filled with stories that bring people together. We can’t wait to welcome you to the theatre.
