Everyone’s favorite practically perfect nanny comes to life onstage in a spectacular, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious musical event—performed at the Historic Avalon Theatre in downtown Grand Junction by The Theatre Project.

One of Disney’s most beloved films has been reimagined for the stage, winning over audiences of all ages. Inspired by the stories of P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney movie, Cameron Mackintosh and Disney’s Mary Poppins charmed Broadway for more than 2,500 performances and earned multiple Olivier and Tony Award nominations, including nods for Best Musical.

Our guide, the ever-versatile Bert, introduces us to London in 1910 and the Banks family, who find themselves in need of a miracle. Jane and Michael have frightened off a long line of nannies—until Mary Poppins arrives with her remarkable blend of magic, mystery, and clear-headed wisdom. As she leads them through unforgettable adventures, Mary helps the children—and their parents—rediscover what truly matters. After all, as she reminds us, “Anything can happen if you let it.”
