Coming off of his successful Stages Level 2/3 run of Beetlejuice Jr., Gabe Gallegos is back to direct this challenging, full-length musical theatre hit.

When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsboys’ expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions. Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what’s right.

Including the now-classic songs “Carrying the Banner,” “Seize the Day,” and “Santa Fe,” Newsies The Broadway Musical is a timeless story full of spirit and heart.

Auditions will be Mon Aug 18 from 5:30-7. Call backs will be Tues Aug 19 5:30-7. Rehearsals will be Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7 for chorus Mondays from 5:30 to 7 for leads and some Saturdays TBD. Stages Level 2/3, ages 8-18. Fee is $190.
