Spring 2026 Dance Classes

Ready for more moving and grooving? The Theatre Project of Grand Junction is offering four affordable 10‑week dance classes for Spring 2026. Perfect for performers and absolute beginners alike, each class meets once a week for an hour. Each course is just $150 for all 10 weeks. Classes start the week of January 26.

Who these classes are for

  • Actors who want stronger dance fundamentals for auditions and shows

Class Schedule (10 weeks · $150 each)

Mondays · 7:00–8:00 PM
Intermediate Tap with Danalyn Schmidt — Ages 12+ or by special arrangement
Build rhythm, timing, and clarity. Great for musical theatre performers who want tap confidence at auditions and in ensemble numbers.

Tuesdays · 7:00–8:00 PM
Dance for Musical Theatre with Mallory Christopher — Ages 12+ or by special arrangement
Story‑driven combinations, audition‑style combos, and foundations you’ll use on stage: jazz technique, musicality, and acting through movement.

Wednesdays · 7:00–8:00 PM
Musical Theatre Dance Technique with Rebecca Burr — Ages 8-14
A welcoming, high‑energy class focusing on coordination, rhythm, and performance skills—perfect for young performers.

Thursdays · 7:00–8:00 PM
Dance for Musical Theatre (Adults) with Danalyn Schmidt — Ages 18+
Supportive environment for beginners and returning dancers: conditioning, classic musical theatre styles, simple combos, and stage presence.

Tuition: $150 per class (covers all 10 weeks)
