Theatre is the Art form that most represents life.
The Theatre Project Community theatre programs serve anyone ages 8-100+

FORMAT
Our Community theatre program is divided into 2 sections.
1. Musical Theatre
-We have several large-scale musical theatre productions each year. These are open to all who audition and focus on building connection, teamwork, and theatrical skills. We also produce several small-scale musicals at various venues across the valley.
2. The Art Center Series
-We are working hand-in-hand with the Art Center of Western Colorado to produce full seasons of theatre in their Studio Colorado Gallery. A much more intimate space, Studio Colorado allows us to produce smaller, more thought-provoking theatre in a wonderful space surrounded by the visual arts.
Please review the FAQ's below. If you have further questions, please email us at theatreprojectgj@gmail.com or leave us a message on Facebook.
Any adult may audition regardless of age or experience. Some shows do have minimum age limits while many are open to younger kids and families as well.
We do not charge a production fee for our adults in community shows.
We do ask for a few volunteer hours to help with the production of the show.
Yes! Check the specific requirements of the shows, but most shows have a group dance lesson and choir session with the option to sing a solo song if desired (Please bring your own track, unless specified on the audition post).
Again, please check the specific show, but for most of our shows we welcome whole families to participate and enjoy theatre together.
May vary by show. See our audition page for updated information.
